Just looking at those makes me cringe. Did you buy some?
COOKED eels are great. Raw slithering eels? Not my thing.
If you bought them-cook them well.
ewww. Eels are great! Just dont care for the way they look when they are alive. Reminds to much of eating a snake.

No I did not buy any since we were not shopping for seafood, I just wanted to take a quick photo. If this isn't fresh, I don't know what is.
