Gia-Gina Across the Pond

So I've decided to follow my husband to his native Italy. Follow our adventures as we eat, drink, travel, adapt to and explore this remarkable country. Part food blog, part photo blog but mostly my rants and raves. After our two years in Italy, we relocated across the Atlantic "pond" and are back in the States.

Although this photo illustrates I am a messy housekeeper, it also shows what a cutie our dog is. He loves to make "nests" on the bed.

What kind of dog is that? I like its ear.

At least your bed looks better than mine, I hate to clean mine up because I come back to sleep in it every evening anyway (I still clean it, but its a real mess)

Speaking of dogs making nests. Last night Saul drooled on part of his bed while he was sleeping. When he woke up, he noticed that there was a wet spot and he apparently didn't like it. He tried to bury it with his nose and paws. It looked like he was trying to flip the entire bed over! He gave up after a couple of mintues and decided to lay down sideways on the bed so he didn't have to sit in his own wet spot. Very funny. :)

One of our cats likes to make nests on the bed, sometimes IN the bed!

Your dog looks so sweet and innocent in that pictures.

Hi Gia-Gino, it`s absolutely ok, they WANT to teach us to be normal people - the main thing is to have fun and to be comfortable, right ? A big kiss from gino and best regards from angelika (who has been taught as well... ;-)))

So cute! Our two dogs love to nestle in anything from piles of laundry to crumpled blankets.

Such a cutie!!! My dog (who looks a big like him with longer hair) nests too. She especially likes to sneak into the closets when we leave the doors open a crack.

My dogs like to do the same thing, too!
